Where to buy organic food?
Updated: Nov 9, 2020
I recommend that my clients buy local, seasonal organic food where ever possible.
The Guadalhorce Organic Association (La Asociación Guadalhorce Ecológico) bring together local organic farmers to sell their wonderful produce from a number of locations in and around the Malaga province on the Costa del Sol..

I often visit these organic markets and went again to my local one (in Fuengirola at the Puerto Deportivo) yesterday morning with my family and bought the above! They sell an array of nutritious produce including vegetables, salad vegetables, herbs, garlic, hot chillies, fruit, eggs, goats cheese, raw honey and wine, seasonal and organic. They are continuously growing so watch this page for updates!
With the produce I bought I made a tasty phytonutrient salad, low in pesticides, and packed with phytochemicals. Dietary phytochemicals such as phenolic acids and flavonoids, found in high amounts in vegetables and fruits have various health promoting properties, ideal for those looking to lose weight and improving their health naturally and safely.
